Well crafted win during a torrential rain in a local derby against Nuneaton. Reds bounced back from last game with first goal deflected from Borough’s defender which wrong footed the golie. The second goal came from a well directed by corner kick past the goal keeper, only to find in form and skillful Tiago Nassunculo who slotted in a scorcher.

Home side Birmingham Moseley’s woes continues after a sloppy defence in the first 12 minutes. Chinnor scored two tries in that opening passage with 17 points up. Moseley were always on the backfoot thereafter. BM played attacking rugby but Chinnor offending several times. Ben Palmer slotted in four out of five penalties and Morgan Dawes try with missed conversion found themselves level at 17-17 on the 64th minutes. It was BM who looked like closing the game, but visitors came back with Jason Worrall for his second try of the game to clinch the tie with nine minutes from the end. This was a better performance compared to last week’s drubbing at the hands of Darlington Mowden Park, bar the opening minutes BM will be disappointed not to get a win at home because next week’s away tie is against a last year’s demoted side Richmond who are the league leaders.
